What Is Bingo and How Do You Play?
Bingo is a number-based game where each player holds one or more cards containing a grid of numbers. In the 75-ball format, the grid is 5×5 with columns labelled B-I-N-G-O. Each column contains numbers within a specific range — column B contains numbers 1 to 15, I from 16 to 30, N from 31 to 45, G from 46 to 60, and O from 61 to 75.
Numbers are called randomly one by one. When a called number appears on your card, you mark it off. The first player to complete the designated winning pattern — whether a straight line, diagonal, special pattern or full blackout — wins the prize for that round.
Tips for New Players: Start with the Green Room at zas36 offering tickets from as low as RM1 and a more relaxed pace of play. Enable the auto-dab feature so you never miss a number, especially when playing multiple cards at once.
Bingo Formats Available at zas36
zas36 offers three main bingo formats that are popular among Malaysian players. 75-Ball Bingo is the American format most widely played online — using a 5×5 grid with a free space in the centre and a variety of winning patterns that can change each round. It delivers high variety and makes every session feel different.
90-Ball Bingo is a British format that is equally well-loved. The 90-ball bingo card uses a 9×3 grid with 15 numbers spread across each card. There are three winning tiers — one horizontal line, two horizontal lines and a full house — meaning more players win each round compared to the 75-ball format.
30-Ball Speed Bingo is the fastest format available at zas36. Using a 3×3 grid with only 30 balls, sessions wrap up in a very short time — perfect for players who want more rounds in less time or a quick game during a short break.
